Mr Puppy UK is the official title for the Pups & Handlers community throughout the UK. The holder of the title advocates for and supports the positive development of the UK’s pup community, and helps reach out to new members of the community. He becomes the national representative for pups and handlers at local pup events, and the international representative for the United Kingdom at European and global pup events. Held annually to elect a successor to the title, it is an event created by pups, for pups, handlers, and all friends of the pup community.
Woof! We’re pleased to announce that the election for the third Mr Puppy UK for the 2018 calendar year will be held on Saturday 2 December 2017, during:
This year, the Mr Puppy Team is thrilled to announce that the contest will be moving north, to Manchester, for the first time. We’ve invited our friends and supporters from Manchester and the North to come and join us in bringing the country’s first and largest pup title contest up north!
It's important to us to involve as much of the community as possible. Since we're moving to Manchester this year, we aim to involve as much of Manchester's Canal Street community as possible – and we encourage you to join us in as many local venues as possible!
We've teamed up with our friends at Wruff Stuff to bring you the contest this year, as well as our friends from Kennel Klub, Club Collared, Club Alert!, Puppy Pride, Fetish Freak of London, Leatherpride Belgium, and Regulation London. They're great with pups, and we're very pleased to be able to work with them to bring you a bigger and better contest this year.
It's also a celebration of being pup, for all pups to come together and share in the joy of pup play and of our community.
The third Mr Puppy UK will hold the title from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018, and he can begin preparing for his title year as soon as the election is concluded!
Interested to compete for the title? The title holder will represent the UK’s pup community for all of 2018. Registration will be available online in early September! Registration is open and pups living in the UK of any nationality are welcome.
